DECATUR, Ala. — Decatur is moving forward with a major redevelopment of the former Decatur Country Club property, with plans to transform the 80-acre site into a mixed-use neighborhood over the next 10 to 15 years.
Land Innovations broke ground on South Brook along Country Club Road, marking the start of a project expected to bring an estimated $1 billion in construction activity to the area.
